After graduating from Boston University, Lori enrolled in the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her career started as a freelance designer selling her detailed sketches to exclusive clients such as Calvin Klein and Halston. She then spent several years at the pre-eminent house of Dior where she built a resume collaborating with numerous designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Yves St. Laurent, and Valentino. While at Dior, she was among the first couture designers to design and produce “ready-to-wear” collections in Asia.

During these years, Lori discovered a deep passion for jewelry design and gemology. She enrolled at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and, in 1997, embarked on a new career.

The company, Lori Wilkins Immerman Fine Jewelry, was born when Lori’s first 30 piece collection sold out at her premiere showing. Soon thereafter, she was in demand by private clients, style icons and retailers such as Neiman Marcus and H. Stern.

Lori invests in the design, workmanship and quality of her jewelry, not expensive rental space and advertising. With her couture background and exceptional price point, Lori strives to offer her clients the opportunity to select unique, elegant jewelry in a personal, no-pressure setting. It is this personal touch and sales style that has led to her success. Lori’s jewelry has been seen on the Emmys, the Golden Globes and in several magazines including Vogue and InStyle.
